High heels (pt. four and final)
Time for my final pair of high heels, and my most favourite:
1. This style of shoes comes highly recommended by me. they finish a formal country look, a formal schoolgirl look, a casual businesswoman look, and a overdressed tomboy type of look. They work all of these tasks excellently as well, I know first hand. They are genuine leather, and the chunky heel is just short enough to look elegant at the same time as being quite practical. I have been on my feet for eight hours with these, and they were only just starting to hurt. I don't know about any of the rest of you, but if I am on my feel for that long, even if I am bear footed my feet will hurt. They are size eight in the brand "What's what" by Aerosoles, and have excellent floor grip for all activities.
For a country or folk look, wear these shoes with a long full casual looking skirt, and it really doesn't matter what socks you pair them with. As a tip though, a large hat and free hair compliments any county look.
For Kawaii school girl use, these are best with dark or black tights and thigh high stalkings. Don't forget to add a mini skirt.
For a forward thinking business woman (or job interview) I would suggest thicker socks, thus adding a little extra comfort for anyone on their feet all day, but black is still an excellent colour choice. and flared dress pants or a pants-suit would be great to finish the look.
For the type of look I called "Overdressed tomboy" I would wear thing white knee-high socks and ragged shorts, but use your imagination. Maybe add in some ragged black tights or thigh highs. Thus completing a grunge look.
I found these particular shoes at a secondhand store, but I highly recommend purchasing them new. They are every bit worth the price, and shouldn't be too hard to find. I'm sure that any shoes in the same style though, will be able to suit your purpose if you can't find the specific brand. I want you to open up your mind to all the possibilities. maybe try a completely new look that you think looks great. This is just to get you started. Thank you so much for your patience in this holiday season, and I'll be out with another post at the end of the week.
-- Happy Holidays!--
