Autumn classics
It is a good time of the year to get out your library or neighborhood bookstore. Get that deep soft blanket back out of storage. Put on your long, thick socks and curl up with a cup of some delectable hot drink. But first make sure you will enjoy your fall wardrobe to its fullest.
This fall's useless trends, if you go in for that sort of thing, are: motorcycle jackets, cropped top turtle necked sweaters, full short skirts in bland floral patterns and round 80's style sunglasses. I'm ready to give those a try but not before opening your eyes to all the possibilities.
When one thinks of fall colours they think of orange, red, brown or yellow. This is an excellent way to choose favourite seasonal fashion items, especially for fall. It doesn't work as well in other seasons unfortunately.
I want you to picture this. it is a fall day, it is brisk, but not unbearable cold, and you have decided to go for a walk in a park. So you grab your tan coloured knee high boots, pull on a grey beanie over your black hair, and wrap a bright yellow raincoat around yourself. You are the perfect centerpiece to the lovely outside setting.
You could even start adding things to further your look. a grey scarf that matches your beanie, grey boot-socks that match that. Perhaps some fingerless black gloves that go strikingly with your hair. And there you have created a perfect fall look.
But what if you don't have a fancy pants long coat in a striking primary colour? Then grab any over-sized sweater. This will look amazing with any pair of leggings, jeans, or even slacks. If you choose beautiful nature themed colours the collage is already more than half made. If your sweater is so big it's falling off of one shoulder, even better. Layer a long sleeved grey shirt under that. Any pair of boots or shoes will go with this look. And I'm pretty sure, at least in my opinion, everyone can rock the look.
And yes, if you even have to ask, this is all gender neutral. For all you other men out there who are concerned about not looking their most masculine, first, shame on you, second, you can work with this. You might even rock it better than the girls.
